The Clarksville High School class of 1975 will hold its 35-year reunion on Friday night and Saturday, Oct. 22-23. Activities will begin when classmates meet at the CHS football stadium on Friday night. A class member will be at the gate with complimentary tickets for alumni and spouses. The game will begin at 7 p.m. Persons planning to attend are asked to contact Kent Cecil at 479-754-2259 so that the school may make the necessary preparations for the amount of space to reserve and the number of tickets to provide. Festivities on Saturday will begin with a social at 6 p.m. at the Clarksville Country Club. There will be music and a barbecue buffet. The cost will be $20 per person or $30 per couple. The money is due by Oct. 1 and may be sent to Kent Cecil, 515 Sevier Street, Clarksville, AR 72830.

 A revival will be held at the Oark Glory Land Church on Friday through Sunday, Sept. 10-12, with Veston Edgmon and Cully Tate as the evangelists. Services will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday. Pastor Utshie Martin invites everyone to attend.

The Higby family reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Lamar Community Center. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish for the potluck meal. Everyone is invited.

Clarksville Chapter No. 172 Order of the Eastern Star is creating a "Memorial Wall" to honor past Rainbow Girls, according to Archie Jane Hatchett. All past members of the Order of the Rainbow for Girls Assembly No. 22 are asked to contact Mary Ann Farris at 479-754-3727 to be included. Any member having past pictures is also asked to submit them to Farris. Pictures will be copied and returned. Additional information may be obtained by calling Hatchett at 705-0002.

The Jennings family reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, (please note change of date this year) at the Ludwig Community Center beginning at approximately 11 a.m. A potluck meal will be served and everyone is welcome.

There will be gospel singing at the New Beginning Tabernacle located at 106 South Fourth Street in Coal Hill at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4. Everyone is invited to attend. For more information call David Zeiler, pastor, at 479-774-2104.

A weekend revival will be held at the Hunt Gospel Tabernacle on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 4-5, with Johnson and Linda Ross providing the music and speaking. Services will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday with a time of fellowship to follow. Sunday services will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a noon meal and an evening service at 5. The 1985 class of Lamar High School will hold its 25-year reunion on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 3-4. Families will meet at the football field at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday to begin the festivities. There will be a pool party at the home of Dr. Danny Aquilar beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Attendees are asked to bring a dish and drinks to share at meal time. Calls for additional information and/or confirmation of attendance may be made to Donna at 479-774-3770.
